Cult of Hecate

The supreme being of the Black Magic System is the ancient goddess Hecate. Known to travel the earth in the absence of the moon, she is accompanied by a pack of black howling ghost dogs. A demanding goddess, Hecate reserves the 29th of each month for worship which, when practiced, brings one high favor with her. Failure to worship the Goddess brings her wrath and furry. Her traditional day of worship is August 13th and her night of worship is November 16th. Hecate's Supper is the traditional way of offering to her. Bringing a meal to her image, one leaves it there after lighting scented candles. The color of the candle represents what the worshiper seeks from the Goddess should his/her offering please Hecate.

Being it during an offering or a spell, there are different things of importance to a cult member should be careful to note. The phases of the moon are used by devoted members of this cult to earn the favor of the Goddess Hecate. Colors have particular importance, be it for candles, gems or runes, as each color allows a cult member to concentrate different forces of magic. The final component of importance are the implements each cult member uses to wreck his/her havoc.
